THAT this meeting be closed to the public pursuant to Section 90(1) (e) of the Community Charter for Council to deal with matters relating to the following:
  • Acquisition and Disposition of Land

To give Bylaw No. 12408 first, second and third reading.

To receive a summary of notice of first reading for Rezoning Bylaw No. 12425 and to give the bylaw further reading consideration.

To give Bylaw No. 12425 first, second and third reading and adopt in order to rezone the subject property from the RU1 – Large Lot Housing zone to the RU1c – Large Lot Housing with Carriage House zone.

To adopt Bylaw No. 12415 in order to add CD28 - University of British Columbia Downtown Campus to Zoning Bylaw No. 8000.

To adopt Bylaw No. 12416 in order to rezone a portion of the subject property from the C7 – Central Business Commercial zone to the proposed CD28 – University of British Columbia Downtown Campus zone.

The Oath of Office will be read by Councillor Wooldridge.

Mayor to invite anyone participating online or in the public gallery who deems themselves affected by the liquor license application to come forward.​

Mayor to invite anyone participating online or in the public gallery who deems themselves affected by the required variance(s) to come forward for each item.

To issue a Heritage Alteration Permit for an addition of fire exit stairs to an existing single family dwelling with a variance to the north side yard setback from 2.3 m permitted for a 2 or a 2 ½ storey portion of a building to 1.15 m proposed.

To amend and adopt Bylaw No. 12332 in order to rezone the subject property from the RM1 - Four Dwelling Housing zone to the RM5 - Medium Density Multiple Housing zone. 

To issue a Development Permit and Development Variance Permit for the form and character of Multiple Dwelling Housing with variances to the maximum height, minimum side setback and minimum rear setback.

To issue a Development Permit for the form and character of a 33-storey tower and to issue a Development Variance Permit to vary the maximum building height, maximum podium height and setbacks above four-storeys.
