I would like to acknowledge that we are gathered today on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the syilx/Okanagan people.

This Meeting is open to the public and all representations to Council form part of the public record.  A live audio-video feed is being broadcast and recorded on kelowna.ca.

To give Bylaw No. 12517 second and third reading in order to rezone the subject property from the RU4 - Duplex Housing zone to the MF3r - Apartment Housing Rental Only zone.

Requires a majority of all members of Council (5).

To give Bylaw No. 12546 first reading to update various chapters and policy maps.

To amend the Zoning Bylaw with a Site-Specific Text Amendment to allow Automotive and Equipment, Industrial as a principal use on the subject property. 

To give Bylaw No. 12544 first reading for a Site-Specific Text Amendment for the subject property. 

To rezone a portion of the subject property from the RU1 – Large Lot Housing zone to the RU4 – Duplex Housing zone to facilitate a two lot subdivision.            

To rezone the subject property from the RU1 – Large Lot Housing zone to the Ru1cc - Large Lot Housing with Child Care Centre, Major zone to facilitate a child care centre.

To receive a summary of notice of first reading for Rezoning Bylaws No. 12532, 12533, 12534 and 12536 and to give the bylaws further reading consideration.

To give first, second and third reading to rezoning bylaws.

The following bylaws will be read together unless Council wants to separate one of the bylaws. 

To give Bylaw No. 12532 first, second and third reading in order to facilitate a townhouse development. 

To give Bylaw No. 12533 first, second and third reading in order to facilitate a 2-lot subdivision. 

To give Bylaw No. 12534 first, second and third reading in order to facilitate the construction of a townhouse development.

To give Bylaw No. 12536 first, second and third reading in order to facilitate the development of townhouses. 

Requires a majority of all members of Council (5).

To adopt Bylaw No. 12454 in order to change the future land use designation of the subject property from the EDINST – Educational/Institutional designation to the C-NHD – Core Area Neighbourhood designation.

To adopt Bylaw No. 12455 in order to rezone the subject property from the P2 – Education & Minor Institutional zone and the RU1 – Large Lot Housing zone to the MF3r – Apartment Housing Rental Only zone.

To adopt Bylaw No. 12510 in order to rezone the subject property from the RU1 – Large Lot Housing zone to the RU2 – Medium Lot Housing zone.

To provide an overview of the recent shift to values-based heritage conservation, the available heritage planning tools, and the heritage management best practices.

To obtain Council approval to enter into a Consent to Sub-sublease with Pataira Holdings Corporation and 1411785 B.C. Ltd. with Canco Petroleum Ltd. as Covenantor

To give reading consideration to Recreation and Activity Centres Loan Authorization Bylaw No. 12540 and forward the bylaw for statutory approval before initiating the elector approval process.

To meet legislated reporting requirement for annual financial report, showcase City services, programs and projects and provide contextual information for the data contained in the Statement of Financial Information report.
