A rezoning application to rezone to RU1c – Large Lot Housing with Carriage House to facilitate the development of a carriage house.

To give Bylaw No. 11549 first reading in order to rezone the subject property from the RU1 – Large Lot Housing zone to the RU1c – Large Lot Housing with Carriage House zone.

To give Bylaw No. 11550 first reading in order to rezone the subject property from the RU6 - Two Dwelling Housing zone to the RM3 – Low Density Multiple Housing zone.

To consider a site specific text amendment to allow temporary farm worker housing to accommodate a maximum of 140 temporary farm workers and to allow a temporary farm worker housing footprint of 0.70 ha on the subject properties.

To give Bylaw No. 11551 first reading in order to allow temporary farm worker housing to accommodate a maximum of 140 temporary farm workers and to allow a temporary farm worker housing footprint of 0.70ha on the subject properties.

To amend Zoning Bylaw No. 8000 with Housekeeping amendments to ensure Zoning bylaw remains consistent with City Policies, keeping up to date zoning language, correcting inconsistencies and adapting to changes in the community. Changes include adding Supportive Housing to the C10 – Service Commercial and P2 – Education and Minor Institutional zones, and Temporary Shelter Services to the C3 – Community Commercial, C9 – Tourist Commercial, C10 – Service Commercial, I2 – General Industrial, I4 – Central Industrial, and P2 – Education and Minor Institutional zones.

To give Bylaw No. 11552 first reading in order to make house keeping amendments to ensure Zoning bylaw remains consistent with City Policies, keeping up to date zoning language, correcting inconsistencies and adapting to changes in the community.

To consider the form and character of the proposed addition to the existing St. Aidan’s Church and the relocation and adaptive re-use of the building on the subject property.

To consider the form and character of the proposed 108- unit 5-storey multiple dwelling housing project on the subject property (Central Green).

To provide Council with information as it relates to the project scope, timeline and engagement approach for the 2040 Official Community Plan update process.

To provide Council with information on the Transportation Master Plan (Our Kelowna as we Move), including a project overview, public engagement plan and anticipated timeline.

To gain support for pursuing grant funding from the Government of Canada Smart Cities Challenge.

To approve the cancellation of the New Drop Off – Woodwaste & Metal and the Glenmore Road Landscaping & Irrigation Replacement projects and the reallocation of reserve funding to fund the cost overruns of the Automated Collection Curbside Carts and the Leachate and Landfill Gas Header projects at the Glenmore Landfill.

To provide Council an update regarding recipients of 2018 Cultural General Operating and Project grants, background information about the grant programs and review process, and highlights from final reports provided by 2017 grant recipients.

To seek Council’s approval of the annual grants-in-aid to professional arts organizations.

To provide an overview of the proposed re-prioritization of South Perimeter Road, and to initiate an alternative approval process and establish the deadline for the receipt of elector responses relating to the proposed funding bylaw for South Perimeter Road the associated extension of Gordon Drive via future Development Cost Charge revenues to be collected by the City up to a maximum of ten million, seven hundred sixty-three thousand dollars ($10,763,000.00).

To give Bylaw No. 11554 first, second and third readings in order to enter into an agreement with Ponds Ventures Inc to construct the South Perimeter Road and extension of Gordon Drive.

To amend the 2017 Financial Plan by transferring funds from the Development Cost Charge ("DCC") Sector B Roads Reserve to the South Perimeter Road project as required to reflect legal fees relating to South Perimeter Road that were incurred in 2017.

Mayor to invite anyone in the public gallery who deems themselves affected by the proposed road closure to come forward.
To adopt Bylaw No. 11534 in order to authorize the City to permanently close and remove the highway dedication of a portion of highway on Cross Road.
